I was pleasantly surprised that I got the Crowne Plaza. I've stayed at similar hotels before, so I knew the quality and was very pleased.

The toilet had something going on when I flushed it, but it worked!

Excellent hotel, would recommend to family and friends.

Nice - sized room; very good bed linens; very helpful and courteous staff.

Thin walls and ceilings - I was on the first floor and someone was playing a basketball in the room above.

I stayed for 12 nights on business. It was a great hotel for my purposes. The bed was very comfortable and it was a nice - sized room so I didn't feel crowded. Location was kind of weird to get to, but I was not familiar with the area at all.

It's right across the street from the entrance to the Ky State Fairgrounds and Six Flags.

They put us on a lower floor where the rooms.

The ceilings are low, which felt somewhat claustrophobic. The heating unit kicked on so loudly all night long that I ended up wearing the complimentary ear plugs! The windows were small and faced I-65, which was all of 15 feet from the outside wall. They didn't have blackout curtains - only wooden shutters that did not block out all the light. I guess that explained the (also complimentary) eye mask that was left on the bed! The first floor coke machine was out, and I had to go to the second floor to get a coke. The restaurant was overpriced and the food was bland, but the service was very good. Noisy furnace.

Outstanding service. Very nice rooms updated fixtures very nice beds & linens. My only problem was they spent 33 Million updating the old hotel, but have not gotten to the old noisy furnaces at least in my room yet. Otherwise, it was much better than I expected for what I spent. ...read more
